    I'm sure within the industry there was a lot of hate talk...
    This was a fighter (De La Hoya) promoting himself cutting out the middlemen.
    & look at the results...

    A lot of the westcoast promotions got their talent plucked & Don King got kicked off as a top player over time. (Amongst others)
