It might also be that he is not trained to put on that bigass fake smile like so many celebrities seem to do everytime they get some attention. Personally, I wonder if he will get his skills back. he is a European victim of American media and oppression. he was cheated in the ward fight. constantly being headbutted, held, and having his momentum disrupted in a fight that he could, and probably would have won, but instead lost by decision because of the unjust American referee. Ward's deterioration was evident in the later rounds. And once Ward realized he was in a fight, he began to headbutt and make Kessler gunshy, unable to mount an effective attack.

If your watch a Dane win a million $ and then watch an American win a 1000 $ and then notise the way they reacts, then you would expect it was the other way around! Ofcourse Kessler is happy guy and a bit shy, but honored to be a part this tournament! But Danes and Americans have a very diffirent mentallity! Many Americans have this `See me, Hear me` attitude. Danish certainly dont! That why Kessler can seem "not happy" to some!
LOL, Kessler's middle name is "funk", and not teh good funk either. Kessler was always an overhyped fighter. What you perceive now as funk is simply his facing the stiff competition he should have faced years ago. Now that he is, he is being exposed as the hype he has always been ala, Hatton.
