When is Mitchell Smith going to call out someone his own weight?

Whats his obsession with Josh Warrington?

Warrington is a featherweight, Mitchell is a Super-Featherweight yet he continues to follow Josh Warrington around like a bad dose of herpies.

Smith needs to concentrate on calling out people who box at his own weight, he has never made 9 stone once in his proffesional career.

You dont see him calling out Martin J Ward, Liam Walsh, Troy James etc and I wonder why????????

He was even shook of Romeo Romaeo, Hes a good boxer but acts like a complete div.

 

He dropped his English title without defending it after andy townsend (bit of a banger on a good run stopped cope who went distance with smith) was made mandatory.

Also if he is planning on going down to feather why call out number 2 in Britain warrington wen selby is top dog and holds a world title

 

I agree, he moans that Josh is getting too much exposure but now he is getting exposure from slagging off Josh which is even worse. He needs to go down to featherweight anyway in my opinion but I suppose in some ways it is like the GGG situation when people are talking about fights with Floyd, Ward and Froch and they all fight or fought in divisions he has never once been a part of.

 

I asked him why he didn't fight Tuberion at feather and he said it was cause he didnt want to lose his world ranking with the wbo at super feather

 

Just announced fighting George jupp in October 12-2

 

No disrespect to George because he is a decent domestic sort of operato, who imo got robbed by choi in the prizefighter but is that really the sort of fight that warrants all his big mouth.

The kid says he is going to fight Lomanchenkho ffs then tells everyone his next fight is George Jupp

 

Be interesting to see wat title its for or if its a british eliminator

 

The guy is deluded mate. Ye so far hes shown us hes not a bad fighter but he hasnt fought anyone yet. Hes obsessed with warrington and as uve stated theyre not at the same weight. If smith could make feather then he would be doing it. He hasnt shown that he can make the weight so why waste warringtons time. He should show hes serious by having some fights at that weight and maybe he could be taken serious.
As Maley mentioned he wax qik to give the english up and you dont hear him calling out walsh ward or james all at sfw.
He was on ifl stating he had the hardest punch in boxing. Hes only got just over 50% k.o. hes deluded.
Hes not a bad fighter but hes certainly not the fighter he thinks he is

 

Saw that interview he did with kugan he sounded bitter as s**t talkng about warringtons fan base and josh being compared to Hatton.

 

I agree at the end of the day he has never sparked a genuine super featherweight. Horvatic is up to my nose and is a fat super flyweight.

 

He's well jealous of Warrington, Mitchell smith if your reading this should have signed with Eddie Hearn 👊

Mitchell is from Harrow (NW london just Iincase you dont know) which is not exactly
the equivalent of a working class, northern city like Leeds. Having said that Mitchell is a good ticket seller but being on sky isnt tv going to increase that. Hes also more likely to get pushed/invested in quicker with FW because hes part of a smaller stable and is one of Warrrens most promising fighters

Do you seriously think a featherweight like Smith from an area of London which generally contains people who are not interested/to busy to Support a fighter/sportsmen as they do in places like hull, Manchester or Leeds is going to sell more tickets because their on sky infront of a live audience of say 100k??
