when mayweather win 2nite will he get props?

I am in the minority of people who have Floyd at P4P No. 2 with Pacman at No. 1, however, a win here for Floyd would see him elevated to my No. 1 spot. As previous posters have indicated, this is a serious opponent who brings a maelstrom of violence to the ring and possesses a steely determination and will to win. I believe Floyd’s all-round natural talent will guide him to a clear victory and it will be a magnificent scalp.

 

Hatton is a big time competitor. 43-0 with a relentless pressure style is the real deal.

 

Having Pacquaio first is absurd, but that's another discussion, I suppose.

 

41 of those fights were against nobodies.

 

If Floyd wins..
some would just say "Ah.. ok.",
instead of "Whoa.. yes.".

We already know how he would win anyway, if ever.

This is the first REAL challange that Floyd has faced since the Castillo and Corrales fights. His best win since those days was Zab, that's it. Meanwhile Pacman has been retiring P4P fighters and ring legends.

 

Mayweather should beat Hatton but he should get a lot of credit for doing so. Hatton is a threat and will be coming to win tonight. If FLoyd wins as easily as some suspect, it isn't because Hatton is an unqualifed challenge it will be because Floyd is just in another league from everyone else.

Fact is Hatton is the best at 140 and FLoyd at 147, in any other divison the top guy moving up to challenge the top guy in another division is seen as a legit threat. Excluding the cruiser to heavy jump where you have a much bigger size difference. Calzahge vs Hopkins, Pavlik vs Calzaghe, Pacquiao vs Diaz, Vasquez vs John or any other divisions you want to choose. THe smaller man, when he's the best in his division, is seen as a legitimate threat when moving up. Hatton is the best in his division moving up to challenge the best in that division. I see no reason why he's not as legit a challenge as others moving up. Having said that, Floyd by decision.

Whoever wins today will also win my respect. I'm going for a Hatton win, but if Floyd somehow manages to beat him he certainly deserves the credit -- as long as it's not completely skewed like the first Castillo fight. Floyd has to do it convincingly, not just a narrow decision.

 

I will give him all the respect in the world even if he comes out with a very close points win over Ricky and I explain why - Mayweather definitely doesn't fully understand the danger that is put upon him and I realised it yesterday when he had that childish behaviour, imitating Hatton at the weigh-in, so he will realise it in the ring. If he comes to succeed, that will prove that he had fighting heart to overcome Ricky's intense activity for 12 rounds and that is a physically demanding task. Nobody should try to extrapolate that achievement in risk of igniting other's rightful discontent on understanding the same - In that scenario, Floyd Mayweather will only prove to be superior to Hatton and to the men Hatton has proved to be superior.
