The reason will most likely be Pacquiao's left hand.

If the fight is at 147 for Pacquiao's title, I believe Marquez's weight will be the excuse... although not really an excuse... Marquez doesn't put on weight like Manny has... he has no business even fighting at 147

Unable to destroy an old shot grandpa mosely who threw like 9 punches a round, and used effective defensive stance like JMM... except didn't counter.

He will not KO jmm... it is more likely the question

When JMM gives Pacquiao hell, what is the excuse?
Pacquiao Struggles against LW 135 pounder? WTF? what happened?
JMM counter punces PAC all night, did PAC finally end is peak?
Did all the wars take a toll on PAC?

If JMM gives Pac a good fight, I wont give any excuses, JMM simply has his number and is the perfect foil against Pac. All credit to JMM for beating the p4p #1.

Now, IF Pac does KO JMM, what would be your excuse?

You would rather both drain themselves to 135? lol.

Their the same size, just not dehydrating themselves, separated by 3lbs max.

Having the fight at 135 would clearly be far more beneficial to pac's legacy. Without doubt.

I don't think marquez is getting the credit he deserves here; a guy who's been one of the best feather - lightweight fighters this past decade and he's jumping up AGAIN to fight the best welterweight in the world. Great stuff for him.

My only gripe with marquez is he should be fighting morales instead of david diaz.

This is a real chance for marquez to cement his legacy as the greatest mexican of all time. I'll be rooting for him. Providing neither pac nor marquez rehydrate too much this should be a good competitive fight based on prior fight night weights.

the only reason will be that JMM is not a ww but a lw (even though he weighs in at 145-146, a ww at fight night).

Man, they could even go for the same day weigh in ffs. Neither guy has the advantage, it's just a matter of how they will train for this fight, one dehydrates and the other one prefers not to dehydrate. Both weighs almost the same at fight night!

    The top two of course.

JMM even of 3-4 years ago would give Pac hell even at Welter.

Its mainly about age and JMM's being past prime with the weight thing being the secondary issue.

A lot of reasons. JMM is older. Pac is better and less drained. Pac is also bigger and stronger than before.

Still, JMM might give Pac a hard fight. Cause styles do make fights.

I don't think team Pacquiao will risk the "RJJ syndrome" by going down 144 below.

The main reason would simply be that Pac's punches has gotten more powerful than before.
