Well, I disagree, but my post was aimed at a specific comment anyhow. Pavlik is known for his short, straight punches. He showed more left hook in his last fight, but saying the fight will end because Pavlik is throwing 'wide' punches is a bit much and out of left field. AA is the one known for the wide punches, not KP. I mean you can come up with different likely scenarios, but that ain't one of them. And like Steward pointed out, Kelly "fights tall". He knows how to use his height.

Wow. If only Kelly could be warned ahead of time that AA packs a dangerous punch and he would need to control the distance better. What a concept. Maybe if we are lucky he will read the forums here on ESB for advice on this technique and save the day. :thumbsup

I'm predicting a tko win for Pavlik, I have not been impressed with Abraham at all

You obviously haven't followed Pavlik's career. His plan against Miranda was to "bully the bully" and push him back, put him in unfamiliar territory figuring he couldn't fight going backwards. He was pretty much laughed at for even suggesting he could pull it off. Look at the second Taylor fight and tell me he threw caution to the wind. You have pretty much shown me you either haven't watched these fights or you don't know what to look for when you do watch them or can only focus on a few things first time around and don't go back and rewatch them.

Actually he throws a lot of wasted punches, sloppy thrown punches. At least he's gotten into that habit post Miranda.

Whatever, you seem to lack any sort of NON bias on a discussion about Pavlik. I'll just avoid Pavlik discussions with you from now on.

"Arthur has never faced a tall, heavy handed, high work rate, long armed guy like KP."

Sheez Boo, I thought you liked Pavlik? Sounds like you were describing a circus freak!

Seriously though, that was a great breakdown you gave. It has the makings of a fantastic fight. Pavlik is a talented fighter and I'm a big fan, but he does get hit in most of his big fights. My opinion of AA's power is that it's sickening, so @ this time I'm leaning toward AA by KO, don't know what round, could be any time.

I still predict an Abraham KO not even a TKO but a KO.

This is the quintessential example of an Abraham fan analyzing a fight:patsch
