I don't think we've even had to see GGG shift out of second, hasn't needed to with his level of competition. One thing he will be doing is going to the body hard and often. That is something Vera seemed almost intent on avoiding. GGG also has good lateral movement, timing, and an excellent jab. That being said, Chavez Jr--of whom I have been a huge detractor of in the past--looked better against Vera this go around. He used his jab and even showed some slickness in there at times. He also made weight and didn't looked drained.

It will be a tough, tough fight depending on the weight. I don't see Jr at 160 again. After Vera 1, I'd say GGG takes it easy, but now I don't know. I could see a GGG decision or a Chavez stoppage since we don't know if GGG's chin is is all that great. Chavez has one of the best. If I had to choose, I'd still go with GGG, but it is a close fight.

This is just a waste of time even talking about. Only way Chavez fights GGG is if GGG goes up to 168. Chavez will never see 160. I see Chavez fighting someone like Bika or Abraham instead.

If he doesn't go unconscious, Jr may die in that ring. Look how mucked up his face was against Vera and Vera looked good afterwards (other than his hand anyways). Jr catches way too much with his face.

Fun while it lasts, otherwise like Rocky beating on a dead cow that happens to be the son of Julio.

Golovkin takes this, possibly stopped on cuts or Chavez quitting on his stool.

Chavez Jr face got busted up by Martinez for 12 rounds (even when he was nearly out of gas)

If Chavez just tries to walk through GGG's punches then he is going to be worn down eventually even if it does go into the later stages

Saying that Golovkins father just died, theres no telling how its effecting him mentally

I fancy GGG to win this one. Will be a very good fight, most interesting will be to see how his power moves up with him.

A fight with Jr at 168, then back down to fight Sergio, then back up to take Froch & Ward.

Chavez will be the bigger fighter, probably come in at 200 lbs., but Golovkin will out box Chavez, bust up his face and either TKO him or Knock him out. Chavez will try to come into the fight as a heavyweight, thinking that the size will help him, but it will not.............

Should be a fun fight, if not almost entirely due to Jr's size advantage and good chin.

Could very well get interesting if Jr still has will after the 6th round (also assuming hes in top form) I could see it becoming quite the slug fest, maybe even G being put on the backfoot? We will see.

This is the fight I hope happens next for both guys. Just a real fun fight.

Thing is Chavez gets hit to easy so against a accurate power puncher like ggg makes me nervous
