Did Mayweather run against Alvarez in your opinion?

no, now be honest, deep down you want him to mix it up with someone in the hope he gets caught and gets that loss you've been fantasizing about for so long.

that's your real intention, at least have the guts to admit it

Put it this way, the only time I felt like Floyd was running was in the 12th round of the rematch with Maidana. He didn't run in the 1st fight, he didn't run against Marquez, Mosley, Oscar, Hatton, Ortiz, Cotto, or Guerrero.

For a few moments in the Hatton fight he went toe to toe and got caught.

    Its not his style.

He didn't need to, Alvarez tried to box and barely tried to put it on Floyd

    Agreed .

His chin is too vulnerable to go toe 2 toe . Hes just not built that way . Some fighters are , some fighters not .

Yeah you kinda are wishing for too much , Floyd is aware of his limits and hes not gonna go toe 2 toe , not now at this very late point of his career especially not after him almost getting taken out in his last fight .

Come on man be real. He is the draw but that has more to do with him having dethroned oscar than him being a draw on his own. Oscar passed on the torch to Floyd, and its almost gone out under his watch. People aren't buying like they used to. Sure they tuned in to see the Canelo fight but that was because people were hoping that they'd be able to see the torch passed on to Canelo not so much to see Mayweather. The Maidana fights didn't sell nor did the Guerrero fight.

If Mayweather doesn't retire within 2 or 3 fights like he said he would he won't even continue to be the most valued fighter in the sport because people are simply dissatisfied with the fights they are buying from him.

I don't understand how that is a bad thing. Could he have? I'm pretty sure he could've. Is it necessary? Of course not.

Because Canelo did not give him a reason to run , move etc .

After the first 3 rnds , Floyd was already aware Canelos gameplan was to box him . There was no pressure , no smothering , Nothing .

He allowed Floyd to get too much confidence , and got completely embarrassed which he deserved .

no but completely toyed with marquez and showed he belongs in a totally different league.

and then you get some fighters who go life and death with the same guy and even get knocked out by him
