Usually im not one to buy into the hype of say Haye Povetkin Khan Degale or duddy

But watching these 3 prospects i was amazed and truelly belived that they can go all the way

    Billy joe Saunders
    Frankie Gavin
    Darren sutherland - RIP

Unfortunetly sutherland is no longer with us but i do belive Saunders and gavin can be real world beaters.

So when did a prospect totally convince you they could be champions even if it turned out they were wrong

When i first saw Gamboa, he was fighting Adailton DeJesus and i was just blown away by his speed and reflexes. Had my mouth hanging wide open.

    Ditto on Korobov...

He'd get stomped in 3 rounds, but I would like to see him step up to a top 20-30 type fighter. I think he's already at that level.

<------- Fernando Guerrero is a guy who amazes me in and outside of the ring. I mean let me drop something on you guys, in 3 fights he has drawn a combined live gate of over $500,000 yes half a milli. Thats because the guys means so much to the community, he visits the elementary schools, he talks to the children, hes a role model and he does all of those little things that just mobilize the support. I was at Salisbury last night when he fought tough competitor Ossie Duran. It was an exciting fight, cagey opening, but halfway through the fight you saw 2 guys slugging it out. Ossie was tough, got hurt a few times but came back and knocked Fernando down in the 8th I believe. But he eventually regathered himself and pulled got the decision. Again, he's a boxer-puncher with some defensive liabilities but that can be worked out with time, this was a learning experience for him, Im definitely looking forward to seeing even more from him. He's fought some really really tough opposition early, he's ready for that step up!:good

Gamboa speed is phenomenal, you can teach that. He is a cut above the rest trust.
