Its funny to know that as we old-skool brit ESB'ers faded into the background, theres been a breakaway from a bunch of big-heads that thought they were better than the site, there should be a list made of them so we can laugh at them all as they creep back, one by one as they almost certainly will:smoke Not that I care, but I always loved mixing it good style & old habits die hard

Those were good days man on brit ESB, & 'sombrerogate' became a brit ESB classic IMO, even though I never intended it to! & If it makes you feel any better my englander friend, I was hand on the heart being 100% honest, I was SURE that Ricky Hatton tossed that sombrero at Arthur, & I HATED him for it...
Then the truth got outed by your cocky self thanks to the wonders of Youtube, a site that didnt have half the boxing stuff it has today, & despite some expert wriggling on my behalf? I had to doff my saltire sombrero to you eventually Strike, I cant remeber if I gave you props at the time, cos I could be ****ish back then, but at least I lost the argument to a brit ESB legend, & its one of my favourite memories on here, even if I felt like Chisora against Haye in the fifth at the time

I don't know **** all about the cliques and new website. Doesn't interest me at all Dunky.
It does crack me up watching people call each other noobs after being here for a couple of weeks and others thinking themselves ultra important because they submit 1000s of pointless posts or being told it was better in 2009 and that ESB has gone downhill ever since the winter of that year, and so on....

Its pretty much that big heads hopefully they stay away although Bryn has a new alias and watches the forum :deal

Thing is lets keep it postive from now on as this place is so much better now

 

They all watch this forum and they are creeping back one by one. The 'we post on both sides' mob are growing and eventually the ratio of posts on both sides will overwhelmingly favour this site.
There's only so much enjoyment you can get from a foru from the same 15 people.

 

Does anyone actually care Buncey doesnt post here anymore, he mainly used this as a platform to enhance himself but got upset at people that didnt like him.

 

I knew you were being honest because of your anger. And you did accept it but with a tongue in cheek denial and some smileys.

The Brit forum was great back then, some of the posters like Bennie were unbelievably knowledgeable and I got loads of free fight tapes from Lightsoot.

 

Read his **** piece on his Khan Theory in this months Boxing Monthly and thank **** he doesn't post on here noo.Having to read him once enough in a month is way too much IMHO.

I befriended Phill on phacebook & I miss his threads/posts, he just stopped shortly after his 1st (controversial) loss & never came back

Probably because rather than just disagree with him, it turned personal. Some genuinely nasty things said that you wouldn't dare say to his face. Inexcusable way to act.
