People shouldn't title themselves " boxing snobbery " when 9 out of 10 posts are like yours here , if u don't like the forum don't post here

 

I've lurked this forum for years, the one good thing is that the elitist twats that used to run anyone off the section when they said something they didn't agree with are either gone or have calmed down

 

Its a shame Buncey he doesn't want to post here anymore BTW ...................

 

I honestly don't think this place has declined.

How has it declined..?

The more chaos..? The better, The more disagreements..? The Better.

What really annoys me is when nobody wants to discuss anything of any real significants, there will be months when people are obsessed with talking about absolute nothing.

There's months when people will just talk about, Area titles, Ricky Burns, Arnie's Gym, Boxers Dinners, The Smith Brothers.

I think we have just come off a good month.

It was chaos the other week, and if i wanted to i could of carried it on!

But i got my Recommended, Monthly, Allowance.

Detailed Debates, and Chaos...!

There's nothing like genuine spite.

I think the next big topic could be Dawson vs Ward.

But its a hard fight to really spark mass emotions on the British forum.

I am looking forward to it, but there's raw emotions involved in this one.

 

I hear that a lot from newcomers and people who post now and then.

 

All I see is a bunch of folk who know nothing about boxing, can't break a fight down, and can barely string a sentence together. I do post here because some of the other posters (like Slip) and worth handing around for.

But frankly you can get ****ed otherwise - I'll say precisely what I think of the in-breds on here (you're one of them, incidentally).

What does this even mean?

 

The problem is that everyone has different opinions, fave boxers, fave trainers, most hated fighter etc... Imagine a random football fan forum where Man u fans slag off Santos or Liberec and vice versa! Just pointless when you have Internet hero egos getting frustrated because their point is not everybody's cup of tea.

 

Those elitist twats brought a huge amount to the forum, whether with historical or technical knowledge. Fine if you didn't like them, but the quality of debate on here is pretty chronic compared to this time last year.

 

As much as this has always been a good source of information, it used to seem very. Cliquey and not inviting, it was like unless you watched vhs of Henry Armstrong footage you were a buffoon and belonged in the general

 

The Forum needs less elitist twats, and more characters who bring divided opinion and chaos.

I enjoyed the edition of BigLemon during the Haye vs Chisora build up. Our disagreement even slipped over into the lounge...

Now the lounge that's a place full of elite twats.

 

If you not like the quality of the debate there are other forums, and I am assured that they pride themselves on having the highest standard of intellectual debate regarding British Boxing.
It would be nice if the drama queens would stop going on about the good ole days and give it a permanent rest about the matter.
