Heard Top Rank is pushing for a fight for the Purple WBC HW title between Pacquiao and David Rodriguez at a catchweight. Roach sent a statement to Rodriguez: "I saw your last two fights."

HBO is willing to show just Klitschkos against Adamek or Haye in HW division. As we all know haye is scared to death... I really believe there will be Vitali-Adamek fight on March in MSG and most probably televised by HBO.

I don't think HBO will show Haye or Admek either. Especially if the fight is in Europe. Haye has had one fight on US TV ans that was on Showtime. Non of his heavyweight fights got on the air here, and he's even in league with GoldenBoy! HBO loves giving us crap Goldenboy fights, but nothing with Haye.
The way it is now, these heavy's have no exposure, (or in the case of Klitschko, negative exposure with a series of dull fights) so even if they agree to fight each other, so what? To the American viewer it's still a fight between two guys they never heard of.

HBO tried to make Arreola a star, and they id it the right way by showing his fights on TV. The problem was that Arreola sucks.

HBO has made it clear they will only show a fight between the The Klitschko's and either Haye or Adamek.

  5. When pink pigs fly:-( HBO, WHO REALLY CARES ANYMORE, too ****ing picky **** em, they used to show, Riddick Bowe against Pieere Coetzer, and Foreman against club-fighters, back in the 90's, so who really gives a flying **** about HBO anymore..
They showed shitty boring Sopranos reruns for 3 years but can't show, Wladimir Klitchko against Sam peter  gimme a ****ing break...

only 4 heavyweights with any fanbase are adamek, haye, wlad, vitali.

noone else counts really, there are better boxer, but not bigger names.

im not even sure they would show adamek vs vitali. that would prolly be overlooked.

but a combo of wlad, adamek, haye should make the cut. also vitali vs haye/wlad would make the cut also.

HBOS decision to drop Wlad had more to do with Wlad's unwillingness to fight outside of Germany.

His poor showing vs Ibragimov in the US, brought out the boobirds, and Wlad takes criticism very personally.

If Wlad will start taking fights over here, he could ressurect HW boxing and HBO would jump all over him.

When he first gained noteriety in the us sports scene, he moved to LA, and looked to save the HW division, but alas he met an ackward opponent, and he fled back to europe.

Vitali Klitschko Vs. Chris Arreola Sept. 26 on HBO drew the highest rating of 2009 for an HBO World Championship Boxing telecast. Klitschko-Arreola scored higher ratings than Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley’s welterweight world _title_ fight and the Juan Diaz-Juan Manuel Marquez bout for the linear lightweight championship..

The Klitschko-Arreola fight, which was shown in more than 100 countries worldwide, also dominated the international market.

"Vitali's fight was also shown live in Germany and received a 52 percent share of the market, the highest rated program at that time slot," said Bernd Boente, Managing director, KMG.

    Tarver-Holyfield

(after Tarver knocks out Aguilera, HBO will confuse him for a hot commodity and throw enough money at him to lure him away from Showtime as both a fighter and commentator. In this economic climate? Loyalty schmoyalty).

HBO will show Tarver if he beats a cleaning lady.

Void might beat him to it.

When the Klitschkos retire HBO will show heavyweight fights again. HBO does not want Klitschkos to be seen. Perhaps Vitali or Vlad should fight Wilder?

All right, when tonight Seth Mitchell is fighting on the undercard of Khan-Maidana fight.
Any one who knows if Seth Mitchell vs. Taurus Sykes is gonna be televised on HBO?
