I like how you failed to mention that Quintana was KTFO...in the first round. PW has called out everyone. It's the other welters who don't want any part of him.

    You gotta be an alias.

He's getting better every fight. At least I think he is. Loads of natural ability, good work ethic, consistent improvement since losing. I don't think he's really hyped overall. Every fighters has a handfull of fans that are delusional! LOL

    Thats KTFO at 3:45.

Quintana was just stunned and couldn't defend himself, he came into the 1st round too cocky, fighting with his hands low...Williams simply landed clean shots on the chin.

Next time you make a post on a boxing forum, learn what KTFO actually means.

He's B-Slice, Pavlik is Champ, and Anglosaxon. Now he's Hyland. They are all the same poster. This man knows no shame.

Williams is definetly overhyped, he is still quite good though. Quintana showed that Williams is beatable and luckily Paul has improved since then. Though he would still be beaten by the best at 147, the best being Mosley and Mayweather. Even still I doubt Paul can make that weight anymore. 154 is wide open espeacially with the loss of Vernon and the incarceration of Kirkland, but I still favour Martinez over Williams and I've yet to see enough of Dzindzruk. Also Kelly is going to kill Paul on the 5th, should be entertaining though.

He boxed quite well with Wright. Faded or not, Winky's a good test and with the weight jump, it was a risky fight. I'd also say that he's learned a good lesson from Quintana. Good fighters learn.

I'm not a fan of getting too excited if they haven't fought a string of great fighters and he certainly hasn't, but to say he wouldn't be competetive with the welters is just nonsense. He has the tools to make a long night for anyone 154 or under (I'm not sold on 160 against a good hitter).

If Williams isn't a threat then fighters like Mosley, Mayweather , Cotto ( mainly Arum cause Cotto will fight any fighter) would have fought Williams already but the reason none have cause Williams is a threat to them plain and simple. I'm making excuses? You made excuse of why Wright got his butt whipped by Williams cause Wright had a 2 year layoff but i guess it's ok for you to make excuses of why Wright got shut down by Williams huh?

I don't think Williams is hyped ... he's a very special fighter who has the ability to be trouble for anyone. The lost to Quintana showed that he can be beat, but it didn't give a clear blueprint on how to beat him because Williams looked somewhat lethargic against Quintana the first time.

I can see Williams being a legit threat to anyone, but if he makes another jump, possibly to super middleweight or light heavyweight to fight someone like Chad Dawson I think he can be in for some trouble. But I don't see anyone at middleweight beating him ... definitely no one at junior middleweight ... I think there are some guys at welterweight that can beat him ... (Shane Mosley & Floyd Mayeather) and remember this is at welterweight ... I think he's more vulnerable at welterweight and super middleweight.

Williams would beat Mosley easily. Seriously easily. Mosley isn't going to like a guy with that wingspan and activity.
