There will be an Aussie world heavyweight champion before there is another American heavyweight champion.
I could see Justis Huni picking up a belt when Usyk retires and vacates.

I see shades of Muhammed Ali on that brother already, he's like a mix of Ali, Frazier and Marciano all in one

We need more Athletic guys like him in the division. Those stiff, robot Russian mother****ers like Usyk and Jalolov don't want no smoke with a real ****** from H Town. We outside!

This was a robbery, yall know he beat that boy! One more round and he'd have knocked his ass out.

There will probably be like 2 American HW champs before we hit 2050. Probably like 4 or 5 title contenders.

I've been watching boxing 20 years. In all that time american heavyweights have always been BUMS.

Can't see that changing anytime soon.. There's always be a man from the Ukraine or other ex soviet nation, or the UK, that is much better than the american HW's, that's just how it is.

In the last 20 years (2005-today), there have been 9 heavyweight champions from the U.S., which is more than any other country by far.

    Lamon Brewster (who beat Wlad)
    Chris Byrd (who beat Holyfield)
    Roy Jones (who beat Ruiz)
    John Ruiz (who beat Rahman)
    Hasim Rahman (who beat Barrett)
    Shannon Briggs (who beat Liakhovich)
    Charles Martin (who beat Glazkov)
    Andy Ruiz (who beat Joshua)
    Deontay Wilder (who beat Stiverne)

    But who's counting?

This has been the worst era overall for heavyweight boxing in the U.S., arguably ever, and the best heavyweight era EVER in British boxing history and Ukraine's boxing history.

And neither has had more heavyweight champs than the US has had.

That's just how it is. ;)

We all know who the most dominant, elite and HOF heavyweights were during this period, and they all came from the Ukraine or the UK

You'll also have the most world title challengers who failed in world title fights if you wanna count those, lol.

So, we had the most heavyweight champions and the most title challengers ... in our worst era ... and in your best.

    Sucks to be you guys.

    @Dubblechin

Chris Arreola x 2, Tony Thompson x 2, Eddie Chambers x 2, DaVarryl Williamson, Calvin Brock, Ray Austin, Eddie Chambers, Bryant Jennings, Dominic Breazeale, Monte Barrett, Gerald Washington,

All losing USA world title challengers between 05-25 ^

Also the Great American Black Hopes, of the likes of Seth Mitchell, Jared Anderson, Malik Scott, Jarell Miller, Michael Hunter.. were hyped to be something they weren't

It's no wonder why I have this preconceived feeling that an American heavyweight will be crap before I've seen them in the ring!!

The good news is America does have the physical talent. The bad news is they go into other sports.

America has produced the most pathetic heavyweights over the last 25 years. It's disturbing. They're basically defective even Wilder was defective to a high degree.

If I were president i'd definitely find a way to get the physical talent away from egg ball a pathetically boring sport into boxing.

That has been debunked and laughed at and dismissed over and over, yet simpletons like yourself still fall for it occasionally. ALL countries have sports more popular and more well paid than boxing, yet no other countries are pathetic enough to make this excuse.

And a fighter is a fighter, it's a completely different dynamic to the other sports. A fighter will always choose a fighting sport. And when you first start doing a sport, the money doesn't come into your thinking, you do it for enjoyment.

America has always had far more current heavyweights than any other country. There's no excuses.

No other counties have sports that have a big emphasis on physical size

Size matters in high school football and basketball...even baseball. Large Physical talent gets sniped at high school level. This does not happen in the UK.

All of our heavys were either born and bred fighting men like Fury OR groomed louts who were groomed into it because they had nothing else going for them but big physical size in the post Amir Khan boxing amatuer boxing culture , AJ for example. And I'm sure the UK will have a few more thanks to the success of our fighters.

It's a shame Wilder didn't hit the big time earlier and garner wider support he could have inspired quite a few.

One word that debunks your "debunk" - SCHOLARSHIP

If true , why are Americans failing in ALL weightclasses in boxing, apart from around 135-154. What sport is taking their featherweights? and Middleweights?:risas3:

Those sports were there when America had some good heavyweights (a long time ago) and they didn't make any excuses then

You don't see any other nations saying their best athletes have gone into rugby or football, hockey, tennis do you:risas3: Despite Football (soccer) being the most popular and well paid sport in the world.

Like I said being a good basketballer or baseball player certainly doesn't mean you'd be a good boxer, it's a whole different type of person requiring very different attributes and mentality

    375 current active American Heavyweights
    Uk - 58, Ukraine 31.

America have all the advantages with top trainers, promoters, TV deals, gyms, infrastructure and so on. They have everything there on a plate for them to succeed if they are good enough.

It is THE most ridiculous excuse ever! !!
