opponents big up a lot of aspects of his game, gans said he was a harder fight than nelson. i'm not really sure about the bad side, i get the feeling he might have lacked either handspeed or accuracy but i could be wrong.
Holly's style was to cover up and close the distance to try to land a short punch. If unsuccessful, he'd clinch and keeping his right hand free (most opponents had difficulty tieing both his arms up in a clinch), hammer the kidneys. Similar style to Young Peter Jackson.
