    He was a middleweight all that time who fought light heavyweights ... in addition, the last four years of his career were fought blind in one eye ... truly amzing ...

    I'm in the process of sorting out my rankings, but I feel comfortable in saying that you could rank him #1 all time without creating a big fuss or backlash, even if he is a slightly nonconformist choice. He's got the resume for it.

    This stands for me as well.

    When noticably past his prime, he handled Mickey Walker well, according to written reports, and was widely reported to have won his second match with Gene Tunney, Greb's only official defeat in their series.

    Generally, I go with SRR for the top spot, but have no issue with anybody putting Greb in that position.

    Robinson, Langford, Greb and Armstrong can really be argued in any order 1-4.
