Now to follow up. What would wins over Montiel and Kirilov do for him in your rankings?

I'd jump him to top 5.

Mijares is good, but is being over rated by people at the moment. Lets first see how he goes against both Montiel and Donaire before passing further judgement. Head to head i certainly wouldn't have him higher then Calzaghe, Mayweather, Cotto or Dawson thats for sure.

If he batters Montiel then he moves to anywhere between #7 and #11 on my list, beating Kirliov he would be between #5 and #9 it just depends what the other elite fighters do.

Hm. I haven't actually formed one yet. Since it's still not a perfect "most talented" list (which is ideal, but obviously more difficult to measure and prove), as by definition in a h2h list different styles have to be factored into consideration; it will take a moment to compile. I can not spare that moment right now, as I have to sleep to open the restaurant in a few hours.

I'll have my list tomorrow. :good

Aside from Joe, who do you rank above him considering you give him the edge over Guzman at this stage?

I didn't want to like Mijares, but I must say, after not only last night's performance, but other footage watched prior, he really does seem to be an exceptionally versatile fighter.

Ah, you're more fair than I thought. There are some people who don't even have him top 25, that's ridiculous.

In terms of 'current status' H2H P4P, I have -

    Joe
    Mayweather
    Mijares
    Guzman
    JMM

    Essentially....

And yes, he's ****ing amazing and only 26, improving consistently. His main problem is being drawn into inside fighting(he's very good at it, but his inside D lacks), on the outside he's nearly unstoppable. Beautiful jab and can throw it accurately from any angle and on the backfoot.

Very special fighter, thus why I'm trying to raise awareness with a little tongue and cheek parade...:yep

A win over Kirilov does nothing for me ( I have already saw Kirilov schooled silly). Beating Montiel would be MUCH more impressive. Top 10-15 I guess currently.

Juan Diaz is my #9 P4P, H2H he's somewhere in the top 12, waiting to see more of him but I do like him and I've been impressed with him lately.

If you want it, deal, like I said.:good

Cotto, top 10, Dawson, top 15. I have Dawson currently at #13 P4P I believe.

Mijares P4P mops the floor with both Cotto and Dawson. But I'll be fair, he schools the **** out of Kessler also and takes Calzaghe to the edge and back.

Does it really get any better than Cristian Mijares? Supernatural, beautiful in motion and a WARRIOR?

He's what boxing is all about.

I've got Mijares top 15, slightly ahead of Dawson and a little behind Cotto.
