Let's see he took a prime Pacquiao life and death. He beat Barrera who wasn't in his prime at that time, but still pretty good. He made Hamed do probably the most embarrassing ducking in years. He's won titles in many different weight classes. I mean come on.

    he is a top 20 fighter p4p

i have not seen a better defensive fighter modern day

h2h at 147 leanord and hearns would have beaten him IMO
and he is marked down for only ever fighting at home and picking styles and size of fighters that most suited him.

great fighter who did not like to take chances and played it safe / but still an awesome talent who would have been right up there in every era.

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are great fighters but some of the Floyd detractors are ret@rded.

How the hell do you bash PBF wins over guys like Hoya or Mosley as old or whatever but big up fights with Barerra or Morales.

Wasn't Oscar coming off a KO WIN over a then top 3 JMW Champ? Wasn't Morales in the middle of a 1 win 7 LOSS streak and coming off an embarrassing loss going into EVERY fight with Pacquiao?

Barerra I, was a good win but didn't dude just have brain surgery like the year before and coming off a loss in the rematch? While Mosley was coming off the destruction of Margarito was P4P and a top 3 WW Champ?

Castillo has the best LW resume of his era til now still was in the middle of his prime and Lineal LW Champ the first fight was close beat him clearly in the second although I see it the other way around.

Compared to Marquez who is a great no doubt but in most opinions beat Pacquiao all four times they fought, weren't the first 3 fights ALL voted "Robbery of the Year".

Mayweather somehow picks top rated Champs but the majority of Pac's win have worse conditions around them.

Look at guys like Cotto for both Cotto was coming DIRECTLY off the Margarito loss, where he was likely cheated was dealing with the death of his trainer who was his father or uncle, and was basically training himself.

Compared to being 3/4 years removed had looked better leading up to and after the Mayweather fight than he had in a while, and was with one of the best Cuban trainers out.

You can't just ignore sh!t for one, yet overblow it for the other.

Pacquiao fought the better fighters and that's just the way it is. And not only did he fight better guys he put on a more fan friendly show. Went for the KO and gave the fans destruction.

Barrera had brains surgery in 1997 dip**** many years before his prime and biggest fights.

How did he fight better fighters?
Really look at his top wins compared to Mayweathers as closely as you do Floyd's it paints a different picture.

Being real its a reason that no matter how much critic's hate or call Floyd boring they still have him best of his generation and the top ATG of his era.

Pacquiao is great as well but to me if you of look at both guys the same way, its obvious who was better.

In the top 30 IMO. He was fortunate that 147 wasn't as deep as it had been in the past which allowed him to move up and dominate above his natural weight right through his 30s.

Head to head at his lower weights in his prime he's in a pick em fight with anybody in history IMO. That makes him an ATG.

Top 25 easy. If he comes back and fights quality opposition (Danny Garcia is a safe bet, has no chance to win but looks amazing on paper) I can see him being top 10. His biggest problem is opposition: no one ever ducked him at 140 and up but he ducked plenty. He is such a huge financial success that literally anyone would sign to fight him in a heartbeat, making him 100% responsible for all the fights that didn't get made, or were made at the wrong time.

Mayweather was born with incredible God Given boxing talent but that alone would not make him an ATG. Sadly Mayweather was cursed by having the cojones of a gnat & a lack of honesty.
He ducked , dived & CHEATED!! to get success. He was allowed to do it to because of CORRUPTION!!
Mayweather an ATG ?? No way Just a very talented CHEAT!!!!
    That's my honest opinion

Mayweather had no honor and was frequently exhibiting cowardly behavior. He was not a FIGHTER!
