I think Dawson will go to the old folks' home and find an opponent he is used to fighting, but he will probably not fight again until a rematch.

That is fact, everytime an american travels abroad he gets the **** kicked out of him.

shows what a huge advantage it is when 95% of the big fights take place in america.

Thread started Headbanger. Shows home town judges, etc.
R Woodhall claimed all kinds of underhand things were done to him, like not knowing where the gym was and driving him round all day so he couldnt train and all sorts
Buchanen told how they sent a prostitute to his room before a big fight, and theres been other documented stories.

ESB is an amazing place. Hundreds of opinions, and almost zero education. The contract contained a two-way rematch clause. The loser was guaranteed a rematch.

I feel Bad for Chad. Everyone was against him last night... the public, the ref, the judges, the ring girls and his opponent who wasn't even near 40 like they promised him.
Dawson will go back home, needs to stop complaining and making excuses, regroup and maybe come back stronger now he really has to prove himself again.

I can't believe people are saying Dawson is a just a hypejob, you don't shutout a fighter like Adamek if you're a hypejob. Dawson will be back better than ever, he fought a dumbfight and paid the price. I'd give Pascal all the credit in the world if he fought well, this was more the case that Dawson had a bad night. If there is a rematch I'd bet the house on Dawson.

dawson is not a hypejob, he seemed to lack the motivation until the late rounds in the fight. when he wanted to he completely shut down and nearly stopped pascal. If they were to have a immediate rematch I believe dawson would outclass pascal, its just too bad he lacked what it takes to push himself in this fight. though I do believe he would have finished pascal by the end of the 11th or the final round. that cut was an unfortunate accident which coupled with his inactivity cost dawson the fight.

He deserved the loss and the criticism he gets now, but dont pretend that he was "exposed" and lacks the talent necessary to be the #1 lightheavy in the world. he can be...... if he learns the necessary lessons from this loss.

He didn't shutout Adamek, he lost a few rounds and even was knocked down! :nono
But I agree on the part that some people are now calling him a hype job is over the top.
