Lemieux will return to the ring in February or March, according to Michel, but won't be fighting the main event. His ego must be stroked and he must regain confidence. So he'll be served up a victim, a batting-cage fastball he can crush over the wall in centre field. But just once, Michel vowed.

And even though his guy lost, Michel has learned the business of boxing well. There was enough action, fairly evenly divided, for a rematch that will be better attended and hyped. Coincidentally, Michel's group has an option on Alcine's next three fights, a 50/50 split with DiBella.
