That was like the end of his fight with Joe where, when Joe was announced as the winner, he looked straight to Peter.
I'm just as positive about Ruiz knocking out Hughie as Ruiz himself would be, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ruiz ducked Hughie because he may fear the thought of having to chase Hughie all fight. I cant imagine Ruiz to have ever fought on his toes.
Lots of people mentioning Whyte as a good opponent which is fair enough for Hughie but doesn’t seem very realistic to me. If I’m Whyte I’d avoid that fight like the plague. Frankly I think most top guys would. They know they’re just going to have to chase around a guy that is happy to stink up the joint for 12 rounds then come out of it with their reputations only worsened, win or lose. Hughie needs to hope Warren will overpay some cans with high rankings (and let’s be honest there is a lot of them), so that he can get another mandatory shot because honestly I can’t see another path for an awkward guy with an ugly style who also can’t crack an egg.
I guess he should look for low hanging fruit like the British title at the moment, and then defend it once or twice. Building up, and not relying on the WBO to put him in the contender spot again for doing nothing.
Would be fun to see Hugie vs. Price at some point. Price could be dangerous for the first 3-4 rounds.
It's very difficult for a heavyweight only throwing feather punches to be successful. Nothing Hughie does makes up for it. Pie in the Sky but Hughie vs Joshua would be great. Not as much for the fight itself, but Tyson's reaction if AJ gets the knockout. I don't think Tyson would have motivation problems if that happened. He'd rock up 2 weeks later looking like 70's Arnie.
Yes, but Hughie is just going run for those first 3-4 rounds. By the end of the fourth Price won't even be able to move anymore, and eventually Hughie will stop running, pile on him and end up getting a stoppage with umpteen unanswered feather blows on a gassed Price.
Fury still has a lot of potential but he needs to realise that he needs to make changes. He doesn't seem to have the personality of Tyson so if he wants big fights he needs a more exciting style. Still time, he's only 23.
I think that's all for Hughie. I don't think he actually wants to fight but he doesn't know how to do anything else. That Parker fight just said it all. World title fight and he doesn't want it. No desire to get stuck in and take the title. Just wants to survive and his nightmare will be over and he doesn't have into the ring ever again. He hasn't told his dad yet, but Hughie ain't going to fight no more.
He tried all that and had make bull**** excuses about his backne and eat wild boar testicles when he got busted. He ****ed it up and got caught. He doesn't want to go through that again. He's given up.
Floats like a butterfly stings like a butteryfly Has the ability to make good fighters look bad but for all the wrong reasons like malik scott.
