Cant remember but I know it was my girlfriends birthday the night he fought Mitchell, can remember catching a glimpse of it on the Box in the pub.

I was in the sports cafe in Haymarket with Doyley and Strike from here, very pissed, very much enjoyed it :good

 

Watched it home- it was sensational, lacy could have been a superstar, calzaghe ruined him!

 

I was out on the lash, landed in as they were walking to the ring, hadnt seen much of Lacy so i was expecting it to be a tough fight. I was canny drunk so i ended up shouted my head of at the tv. Good ****ing night it was!

I wanted Calzaghe to get battered to prove that he was not as good as some suggested but from round 4, when it became obvious what we were witnessing, I wanted him to win.

 

As I was inside my wife, I had no thoughts of lacy v calzaghe.
