Problem is Bowe was kept away from punchers. Liston's opponents may have been small but that does not mean he didn't have the power to ko much bigger men.

Usyk's cruiserweight opponents weren't huge and he wasn't exactly ko'ing world class cruiserweights. But when he moved up, he showed a smaller man can hurt much larger men if he has the skill to land.

Just because Liston did not ko 250 lb heavyweights does not mean he did not have the power to. The majority of the biggest heavyweight hitters in boxing history weighed between 210-225 lbs at their peak. We know that Foreman had the power to put away such men and Foreman himself said Liston was one of the 5 hardest punchers he fought and/or sparred against.

At the very least, Liston is in the same league as Ruddock, Morrison, Mercer and perhaps even Lewis in terms of power. And Bowe was kept away from all big punchers in his era. Which begs the question: why?

Never showed he could so at that point its speculation
"If" which Liston does not have in the slightest

Hardest heavyweight hitters in boxing history were Lennox and Wlad both were 240 at their peak

Uh, nah brah. Put it to a poll if you think otherwise. Patterson was probably the fastest elite heavy ever and had was a very sound boxer.

Well of course its speculation. All of this is speculation. Those giants weren't available in that era. But everyone who fought Liston mentioned being in awe of his power.

    Liston absolutely has enormous skill.

I said majority of hardest hitters. This includes Foreman, Tua, Tyson, Coetzee, Wilder, and yes, Liston. And of course Lewis and Wlad are up there too. So yes, majority of the hardest hitters ever are in the 210-225 lb range.
