I wont read the bible, as I'm not a Jesus freak, I have enough confidence in my self to not have to rely on the loosely translated tales of hallucinating, uneducated goat herders from circa 1000-1500 ac to get through life, it is my grandfathers and I have it as a keepsake, a memento if you will, from him.

 

The Freemason's holy bible appears to be a standard issue bible from The British and Foreign Bible Society according to the first page inside.

The Catholic Church, like other religions, is opposed to freemasonry because freemasonry does not discriminate between religions. Most religions require exclusivity for control.

Have you read Morals and Dogma? Nowhere does it say that Lucifer is God. Lucifer is a Latin word meaning light bearer and is a term used for the morning star in a couple of passages in the Bible. In that quote by Pike you cited, he was simply saying that it was strange that the term Lucifer is associated with the devil considering it's original meaning.
