    actually, a lot of great fighters will make great trainers. it just comes so easy to them that they it's hard for them to comprehend why others don't get it. i remember people saying ted williams was a horrible hitting coach, and he's probably the greatest hitter in baseball history.

    You know all the jokes but who would have guessed back in his fighting days that Freddie Roach would become the best trainer in the world.

    I never said he's a piece of sh*t. Besides, have you listened to some of his interviews? This guy can take one question and turn it into a 7 minute answer. Only B-Hop can do that.

    might be someone who has decent skills but never made to that top level. luis collazo, clottey, glen johnson.

    Usually it's guys like him, who make the most of limited talent, who do become the best trainers.

    Yeah thats what I was kind of aiming for with this thread was to get names of guys who maybe aren't that great of fighter because of limited natural ability but are smart boxers that would make good trainers.
