    Choi is a beast.

I wish Lindsay or Appleby would fight him, but it seems unlikely.

Make Johanneson vs Choi at Leeds Town Hall.

    I'd be there!

There is a reason for that. Choi would beat them up so bad it could threaten their entire career. Easier to pretend the guy doesn't exist.

Taking a fight with Choi would make no sense to either guy.

Appleby is pretty raw still, whilst Lindsay was being outboxed by Matthews for a spell before closing the show impressively.

I don't see why it wouldn't make sense. How many genuinely competitive fights are there in the division? They can fight each other, Simpson, maybe Truscott, after that we're into the realm of soft touch opposition.

Its not like they'd make less for fighting Choi compared to a gimme fight. It just depends on their ambition to make tough fights, that in reality will actually benefit them in the long run.

I don't think it would make sense for either because they would be beaten badly. I understand your point and agree with your views - but these days the '0' is all important....

Credit to these guys for actually fighting each other - on too many occasions there is some sidestepping going on..... if those four guys had a bit of a series the last man standing could step up to Euro level.

Choi is a beast, no doubt about that.

But what makes anyone think a FW like Choi would beat some of our Lightweight crop? Has Choi fought at a competitive level at the weight?

I'll sit on the fence for the lightweights at the moment, but of our superfeathers, for me, Cook, Kevin Mitchell and Arthur outpoint Choi.

    Foster and Burns are 50/50.

Choi needs to be more active though. I was really hoping he would get some decent fights after the Matthews win, but I suppose finding an opponent for him following that would be difficult.
