ricardo is one of my man kg.. :thumbsup i am just exaggerating and 3/4 of the boxers listed are better than pac. it is just that the explosive and all action pac deserves some recognition
tyson - the most awesome heavy i've ever seen. handspeed like a welter, crushing power in both hands, some of the best head movement ever, great footwork allowing lots of leverage in his punches, great stamina for his fighting style, threw every punch in the book etc... h2h tyson is a beast. duran - great body puncher, deceptively good head movement, put lots of pressure on opponents, tenacious, solid boxing skills. my favorite all tiem fighter. hearns - when we talk about 'supernaturals' on here, hearns is the guy who imo fits that description perfectly. master boxer who for me defined fighting tall, awesome hand speed coupled with awesome power, put together great combinations, always let his hands fly in fights and made for great fights every time. another hard to beat guy h2h for me. honorable mention hopkins - never had much in athleticism going for him, but he more than made up for it in fighting smart. great counter puncher, great boxer, does a lot of subtle stuff in the ring that can really be appreciated. his "it's illegal only if your caught" strategy also adds another dimension to his style.
Pernell Whitaker, To be able to ltterally stand 2 feet from a guy and avoid his punch's whilst hitting him with combinations to head and body, :yep Roy Jones Jr, The most naturally talented fighter in a ring that I have ever seen. He could do things that on a consistant basis made you go: "wow" and that is highly impressive in my book. Lennox Lewis A big guy that could box, had great power and was one of the best H2H fighters in the history of boxing. Muhammad Ali A heavyweight with the speed of a feather and the best footwork in the history of the sport.
Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler, Lennox Lewis and early Naseem Hamed and Mike Tyson. Ray Leonard at WW had a great style too. Of today's fighters I like Calzaghe and PBF.
I love the physically gifted all-arounders. The guys that mastered the art of hit and not get hit like Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather. They made you miss and made you pay. I liked Sugar Rays style alot but his punches were quick but pitty patty at times, PBF and RJJ had the same speed but threw every punch sharp. Mayweather's shoulder roll is hard to master but once you get it down its great. You can use it to counter a speedster, and outbox and counter punchers.
