It seem's that SKY are giving every young fighter/fighter of age a chance commentating, yet only a few will be natural at it. Paul Smith Jamie Moore Matthew Macklin Tony Bellew These guys will have a future in the booth. I don't see the following having a future... Campbell Barker Murray Cleverley Agree or not?
I would say Alex Arthur and Paul Smith. Bellew is a tool, he becomes more annoying with each passing day. Jamie moore is on it already so I'm not counting him.
I like Bellew commentating I think his love and knowledge of the sport is plain for all to see, like Jamie Moore. Like Paul Smith aswell Macklin is good but he always seems to have a smug look on his face bloody annoying so it is.
Martin Murray bless him, don't see him doing much on the screen - unless they get him in for Macklin fights every time , sounds more northern than peter bloody Kay!
Think Anthony Joshua could be good after his career, seems to be a very funny guy and he is very humble and unbiased so he could make for a good commentator
I like Moore, think Alex Arthur struggles to score fights, was giving Ryan the 2 rounds he knocked Nurse down in as 10-9 rounds. I also think Curtis Woodhouse would be good, even better if Scott Harrison done it with him lol. I actually thought for once Jim Watt done well at ringside, as long as he does not commentate on fights I will be happy. I thought Paul Smith was brilliant at that, real class
I think Bellew actually comes across alright when he's brought in to cover fights. It's during the build up to fights that he makes a bit of an arse of himself.
Don't get me wrong he's honest & knows his business... But it's his delivery,I'm afraid it does him no favours.. And that's coming from a working class Lancashireman haha
Know what you eman, Murray is class and I've always liked the guy, but can't see him appealing or being entirely understood by the casuals. Definitely delivery, not as concise as someone like Froch. A shame as he speaks a lot of sense and is a very genuine guy.
