    You are focusing WAY too much on the fact that this fight lasted 12 rounds. Sheer volume of forceful punches means a lot more, and let's face it, there weren't THAT many barrages of punches landed by Chavez.

    Now William Joppy after the Hopkins fight (that went 12 rounds too, if that satisfies you), THAT was a man who took a beating:

    No, fourth time. I think I'm correct on this occasion, and that Lacy/Calzaghe never really striked me as brutal to begin with...he was slapped for 12 rounds.

    Nevermind, we'll agree to disagree.

    I didn't mention Lacy/Calzaghe! If you want to see punishment check out Wayne McCullough's fights against Morales and Harrison.

    Another one i would say is Pirog vs Jantuah that was a beating alright, not only a beating but he made Kofi look like a fool at times.
