There are plenty. Jon Jones will NOT be the same force he is in the light heavyweight division. His supreme height and reach advantage will dwindle and his strikes won't have the same effects against a heavyweight.

As awful as Snobs chin is he is a solid 240lb 6ft 4 heavy. Jones has no physical advantages over him. Snob also has a mule kick in comparison to Jones. The reality is Jones carrys none of the physical advantages that he has at 205 up to heavy. So i fail to see why fans are so quick to get on this band wagon and claim Jones would simply go on a tear.

This is how I feel. As Jones goes up in weight, his advatages decrease, and the fights would be much more competitive.

I can see Jones doing well at heavyweight, but probably not becoming champion.

Also, if he moved up in the near future, I would question his power. Would he have enough power to get the full respect of someone like Shane Carwin or Junion Dos Santos?

Jones would not easily dominate at Heavy at all. But there's some guys he would light up.

He would also have a very significant speed and still reach advantage over most guys.

He would kill snob inside 1 round, takedown a few elbow's= near death experience for a guy like him.

Uh, he still has a longer reach than anyone he fights. His wingspan is eight inches longer than Junior's.

Also his height is just about right for a heavyweight, he's taller than a lot of guys he will face.

Plus, he's still just a baby. He's only 24. By the time he's in his late 20s, early 30s, he will be bigger and stronger. He will still be tall, still have a ridiculous reach and still be a superb athlete. But he'll be a whole lot more skilled, a shitload more experienced, and a lot stronger as well. He'll be a good HW. He will still bring a very unusual and effective set of advantages to the cage. :bart
