Which Heavyweight ATG's fought the most 'Bums' in their careers?

There's been a lot more boxing bums over the years than I thought

On a serious note. I thought Joe Louis might score higher here. Perhaps his famous bum of the month campaign wasn't as bad as people make out at the time?

 

What qualifies a fighter as a "bum?"

 

I wont call any fighter a bum, so lets change that word to C level fighters, in that case it is Tyson who fought the most C level fighters.

 

At the time it was because none of them had a chance.

Now it's because none of them ended up amounting to anything (Godoy and a few others aside). However, at the time, each of them were in the bottom end of the Ring top 10 at heavyweight.

 

I think the way he is ranking his 'bums' they are more E level, for instance, Audley Harrison would not be a 'bum' with his system.

 

Wait!!....I thought all boxers were bums, are over rated, should retire or are shot....now I am confused.

I think it's an interesting experiment, honestly. The hard part obviously is definining a bum, but you've given some criterium. And the results aren't too surprising. I'm a big Foreman fan, but I can admit that his record is very padded.

 

Don't agree with the bum ratings here but, is Ken Norton really an atg? Very good fighter, should have gotten the decisions vs. Ali, but, ATG?

 

Larry Holmes was great, but some of his fights with guys like David Bey were terrible matchups.

 

That it illicits strong reactions.

 

Norton was a good example of styles makes fights. Norton was annihilated by some Mexcian bum that nobody ever heard of, annihilated by Foreman, annihilated by Shavers, annihilated by Cooney. But had a style to give Ali trouble.....
