SusieQ Rocky Marciano fought Bill Hardeman record 1-4, Gilbert Cardone 0-1, Gilley Ferron 1-4, Jimmy Walls 9-15, Harold Mitchell 3-13 so you can take your LoLs else where. I guess its ok for Marciano to fight bums right?

Joe Louis fought Willie Davies 0-6, Art Sykes 4-5, Biff Bennet 6-10 and numerous other smaller fighters with subpar records of smaller guys with built up records

Tyson: Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tubbs, Frans Botha, Carl Williams, Buster Douglas (you said power to change the fight, well that right uppercut was a temporary momentum changer)

Joe Louis was the hardest, crispest puncher ever IMO. Of couse, I've never been hit by him...

Rocky Marciano, based solely on his one punch ko of Jersey Joe Walcott, who DID look great in this fight (agreed McGrain).

Shavers is the man, it's just that his skill and stamina level were most ordinary.

By which logic, Vitali Klischko is our winner here at 93%.

Is this just horrible grammatical construction or are you actually saying that Foreman KO'd Tyson?

Marciano...ask Walcott....or Rex Layne...etc. The man could bang..as well as break bones and rupture bloodvessels...

Ther is a big difference between fighting oponents of that calibre early in your career and fighting them when you are about to challenge for the heavyweight title.

The bottom line is thatForeman was prety much spoon fed up to the point where he challenges Frazier for the title while Louis and Marciano were prety much thrown to the wolves.

    Not a bad shout.

The only thing Johansen seemed to have was that god given right hand punch.
