Vladimir Virchis. Very limited fighter with limited skills, but he has murderous pop in his fists. A Ukranian farmer who was supposed to be cannon fodder when matched with rising shooting star(who gave hell to Valuev-in his 4th pro fight) Taras Bidenko. However, the things didnt turn out the way Bidenko's promoter had planned them.Virchis scored a brutal ko victory in a very dramatic and entertaining fight.Since then he has collected some decent skalps, and suffered a loss at the hands of his stable mate and friend Ruslan Chagaev. Funny fight it was.No action in 11 rounds.Chagaev and Virchis didnt want to fight each other. However,in the last and final round they went for each other with blazing guns.Chagaev got a lucky point decision. Virchis is just a strong and powerful farmer. No big shot and carefully matched and protected talent,no future money machine or potential superstar.A simple man from a small town in the Ukraine. Like Joe Smith from Jonestown,Kansas
Yes sir.. Friday.. as in Tuesday and Sunday.. Friday Ahunanya, his last few fights have been pretty tough.. Povetkin.. Ibragimov...Lyachovich.... Mount Whittaker... He beat the unbeaten New Zealand heavyweight Shane Cameron to keep himself in the running.. He has slotted himself in the upper half of the rising gatekeepers.. With a couple of nice belts to keep his foot in the door.. :good
i would like danny williams to gwt bak into contention from da list doe brewster. i luv watchin him fight
I agree, Virchis may turn into something, yet. Great power and a very tough guy. His only loss to CHag is nothing to belittle him for. I think once (if) Virchis beats Gomez, and earns his WBC title fight, he may just beat Peter. Not sure how long it'd take for Virchis to get his shot, as it may be a while, yet.
david tua, even though it's not possible anymore shannon briggs, although he's one skilled mofo who lacks discipline andrew golota, because it would be fun if he's on the heavyweight mix
