Somebody has an agenda, and it's not to hard to see. Wlad is so incredibly talented that NONE of the contenders in a division are worthy. For the better part of his career he has dominated his opponents like nobody in the divisions history has. If a fighter lands a punch or takes a round from Wlad its news. In all of sports history nobody has dominated there sport like Wlad has. He's a ATG, who will be missed and appreciated when he's gone. All this thread does is show the jealousy and hate because he's not American or British. Shame.
Wlad is popular in Germany where the national IQ is between 102 and 109 and unpopular in America where it is 98.
If this was a poll only between Floyd and Wlad . . . If Wlad lost his fans would cry its because he was Black and American. If Floyd Lost they would say he only makes more money is because he was Black and American. This Poll shows that Wlad is boring compared to contemporary White non-American fighters is far less marketable and therefore is not able to "crossover" despite being the dominate champ in boxing former glamour and premier division. is this poll flawed . . . yes. but it is brilliant!
Wlad, has become near unwatchable, at this stage of his career. Keep hearing how Wlad, is this and that in Europe. Hell, the French think Jerry Lewis, is a genius to. Wlad would be booed out of the ring in the USA pulling the things he did against Povetkin. If the Germans, want to sit back and pay to watch boxing/wrestling over and over, have at it. Fighting the way he has, and against the current crop of stiffs in the top 10, Wlad would have a hard time filling a 10k seat arena in the USA. I guess he's smart though to stay where the money is. He just won't be seeing any of mine. The folks calling people who don't like Wlad racist and the such are clearly fanboys and delusional. At one time Wlad, was an exciting fighter to watch. Today his fights simply stink.
Amen to that. Neither Floyd nor Wlad have gotten me to even stream one of their fights since Baldomir and Ibragimov. Nobody should have to sleep!
I'm with you, Floyd doesn't see my money either. Used to watch much better fights on ESPN or USA for free. Just a big snoozefest.
Tuesday and Thursday night fights....those guys fought wars. I'm sure there were some, but I can't remember to many boring fights.
