Ray Leonard not waiting so long to fight Haglar and rematch Hearns. A Pryor fight would have been good also.

Ali v Liston in a non farcical fight.

I was also disappointed sitting in the crowd when Poonsawat dismantled Bernard Dunne before the fight really got started. The crowd went so quiet it was eerie.

It might possibly still happen this year but Mayweather vs Pacquiao in 2009 would have been a classic.

I was super disappointed when Wlad-Haye fell through.

Then the fight actually happened and I was even more disappointed.

Pacquiao vs. Valero would've been a barnburner.

Yeah, in a near parallel universe, Tyson wouldn't have got his rib injury and the fight would have gone ahead.

You weren't the only one. Afraid I was sold on the hype as well. Thought for sure there would a knockout for one or the other given the shaky chins and potential firepower of both but it turned out to be one of the biggest duds in recent memory.

Indeed, though I would have preferred to see him clean Mustafa's clock then lose to Spinks.

I was disappointed Gamboa never fought Juan Manuel Lopez. Both fighters were undefeated, nice clash of styles and I've got a feeling they were rated 1 and 2, although I don't have a source to back that up. I also felt Lopez would get beat pretty handily, noted that Gamboa might have had the odd sticky moment.
In the end it was Salido, who Gamboa had previously beaten despite hitting the canvas in the 12th that exposed Lopez knocking him out twice in two fantastic fights.

Shame, if they'd fought one of them might have gone onto bigger things ...
