saddler-pep, lamotta - srr, louis-schmelling, graziano - zale? i figure most will claim louis - schmelling because of the war but on sheer ferocity and guts and boxing which one was it?

Personally I'd go with Jake and Robby just ahead of Zale-Graziano - but not by much - probably base it on the comparative quality of the fighters involved to be honest but certainly to produce a fighter as legendary as the St Valentines Day Massacre the 6th time you fight eachother suggests to serious competetive and grudgy mean hard never back down never give in to anyone characters - usually those sort of series' usually fizzle out by the third time but not these two - jeez they must've really wanted a peice of eachother!!?? great answer. id probably have to agree with ya i always figured if ya fought 6 times there must be something to the matchup. i also feel ya on zale - graziano being a close second but what about the pep - saddler runs? they were certaintly awsome in their own right.
