I think he beats most of them at light welter, at welter he would struggle but beat a few. I think hatton is seriously underrated and hated on this site.
Yes. Well, Judah is shot (after the 2006 inactivity and then the loss against Cotto) and would be beaten by many. Cintron and Clottey haven't beaten anybody (well, Clottey beat a 2007 version of Corrales that was shot and fighting at 149). Nothing indicates me that they would beat an elite fighter.
:rofl dude speak english or get a spell check, that made no sense This content is protected "?? atsch This content is protected :huh :-( *sigh* This content is protected
so ur telling me that if they fought at 140lbs that the fight wouldve been different?atsch same outcome....at anyweight at anytime in any setting:deal
I don't know how Hatton beats Clottey. Cintron I could almost see due to his susceptibility to pressure fighters, but Clottey is so big and strong, Hatton does not have any physical advantage whatsoever.
Exactly, which is why Cotto wouldn't have much success at 154 unless he utilized his boxing skills more against larger men. The problem with Hatton is that he doesn't have those skills to outbox naturally bigger men. He should stay at 140, unify some title belts, and never move up again - even for a big payday.
it wil have meant more for floyd in terms of accolades idiot, at 147 that win means NOTHING the guy is not even a top 10 WW
Im still not convinced: Judah: While he may be 'shot' in your opinion, and partly in mine, at 147 I think he beats Hatton. Ricky would take too many punches in the early rounds, I can see a vicious uppercut ending it early. Cintron: His reach would be too much for hatton, in my opinion, although Cintron has a suspect metality, I think he is too big for Ricky. Clottey: Too big and strong......just how does Ricky beat him? Ricky aint a big puncher, especially at 147, and Clottey would prob outwork him here, prob tko
Mayweather couldn't fight at Light heavy or even middle. Hatton is a very small junior welter let alone Welter. In fact he has more business moving down a division, but credit to the small guy for attempting to move up to welter and take on the naturally bigger guys and chase the big fight; despite losing his 0 in the process.
I think that the Judah that turned up against Cotto would give Hatton fits. However, he's an unpredictable ****er.
