Which was the greater trilogy

i think i'll vote for rafa-izzy here. the quality of the three fights were all off the hook while the 3rd fight of mab and EM paled in comparison with their first two

 

Barrera Morales were also grudge matches, these two dudes seem to like each other.

 

vaquez-marquez hands down.the second and third vazquez-marquez fights dwarfed barrera-morales 2&3.

 

Morales was awesome action--I voted on that alone.

 

Great match ups. Hope we see more in the future.

 

I dont' think that he did it to make a better fight. I think that he tried to be more offensive because he believed that if he didn't hurt Vasquez enough Vasquez would murder him in the later rounds.

 

It's amazing how there is not even a mention of the thrilling Gatti / Ward trilogy. It was captivating at the time.

I rate the Vasquez / Marquez trilogy better, because they are greater fighters. Gatti and Ward were not the best fighters in their class. Everytime they stepped up to fight the elites in their weight class they lost. That said, they fought their hearts out against each other.
