First LH champion to turn the trick was Micheal Spinks I believe. Fitz actually won the Heavyweight title well before he won the LH crown, and natural LH's like Charles and Tunney never held the World title at LH.

Not a chance. :D Most likely guesses would have been Donald Curry or Johnny Bumphus in that case.

Although I never held official recognition as world champion, and never received a title shot, I was a top contender in both the LH and Heavyweight divisions in the 1940's.

Hailing from Cleveland, I also defeated Charley Burley, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Lloyd Marshall, and a whole bunch of other good to great LH''s throughout my career.

Final fint: My last professional fight was a six round decision over victory over Mike DeJohn, who was to become a fringe contender at heavyweight in later years.

    Who am I?

    Jimmy Bivens

After retiring from the NBA, I decided to give pro boxing a shot. I retired from boxing with a 3-0 record at cruiserweight.

Sounds like Zab Judah to me. Or at least that would be a correct answer, if not the intended one.
