He was in lots of people's especially after his win over Segura who was in a lot of hardcore fans and The Ring's P4P top 10 when he beat Calderon twice.
So Ioka above or below Adrian Hernandez? I don't think I can, on good conscience, place Moreno above Yamanaka. What do you think?
Ioka is above Hernandez if you rank what everyone has done at below 130 together, but Hernandez probably edges him in Jr Flyweight achievements. It's close between Moreno and Yamanaka. Yamanaka has achieved a lot more lately, wheras Moreno more over a longer period. I won't argue with anyones rating as long as people do realise they are 1 and 2 at Bantamweight. I personally have Yamanaka #1 myself. These two need to get it on a hell of a lot more than Stevenson-Kovalev to decide divisional supremacy yet nobody talks about this fight (because Hopkins also has a claim at 175, whereas it's a significant drop to number 3 at Bantamweight).
All valid points. Some good talk so far. And I'm feeling pretty conformable about 1-7 (Rigo, R. Gonzalez, Donaire, J. Gonzalez, Mares, Santa Cruz, Yaegashi). How do you see the next tier? Here's what I got so far: 8. Omar Narvaez 9. Juan Francisco Estrada 10. Kazuto Ioka 11. Brian Viloria 12. Shinsuke Yamanaka 13. Anselmo Moreno 14. Edgar Sosa 15. Adrian Hernandez or Giovani Segura?
