I agree, Pavlik deserves to be called a hard puncher though, not that you're disputing that, just thought i'd put that in though.
Hopefully these two will meet soon I have them 1 and 2 currently for MW's and think it will be a hell of a fight!
Well, HBO says they have a date in 01/2009, Pavlik camp says they want Abraham after Hopkins, Abraham camp says they want Pavlik after Marquez. So, I think it will happen, they just have to go by their next opponents. Additionally those two guys are made for each other, Pavlik comes at you throwing punches while having a lackluster defence while Abraham wants you to come to him and counters - I think this fight is close to 50/50 but I slightly favour Abraham due to his better defence and chin and I´m pretty sure there will be a KO but if it goes to the cards Pavlik wins.
I think this is a difficult question and I have played with this idea some. MW is one of the toughest divisions for me to try to come to a conclusion about. Interesting take I have Pavlik as a slight favorite to win. Abraham is a great fighter but Pavlik improves everytime out-hell I hate to see a loser of these two but it will be a great fight.

Jackson doesn't belong that high on a middleweight list. He was very obviously faaaar harder hitting at junior middle. Similar to Mugabi moving up to middle against Hagler. Hagler's said multiple times Hart hit him hardest, harder than Hearn's or Mugabi. Sure, P4P they might of had more power then Hart, but Hart was a legitmate middleweight.
Well, like I said if it goes to the cards it´s all Pavlik, possibly even by a landslide BUT with Abraham it´s a big chance that it won´t. And Abraham has the better chin and defence, Pavlik´s defence has huge holes and his chin is average. Also Abraham´s trainer always puts up a very good strategy which fits right to his opponents strength and weaknesses while Pavlik knows only one way to fight. I´m really looking forward for it.
