Good point, but I think its up to the fighter and his handlers to due their homework before they bring a new trainer in. Seems to me that all trainers like to mold their fighters the same way. Steward seems to only train tall rangy guys...and focuses on using the jab to set up big right hands...and IMO neglects teaching them the art of inside fighting. Kevin Rooney always trains guys in that Cus D'amato Bob and weave style. Seems like fighters are going to Mayweather senior now that want to improve their defense. Some trainers aren't right for some fighters...simple as that. Doesn't make them bad trainers though IMO...just means their style of training won't work for particular fighters stye of fighting.
