    Vitali Klitschko
    Tommy Morrison
    Oscar De La Hoya

Morrison and De La Hoya lost almost all of most important fights of their careers. Vitali had atg potential but his resume was weak.

Wow Tommy Morrison is in the hall of fame?

I think guys like naseem and Kenny norton are right on the line for me. Like if they're in why isnt Iran Barkley?

If he had defeated Mercer and Lewis, he would be solid HoF. Foreman victory is still fine for him.

If he defeated those two is a big if.

One decision over old foreman is not hall of fame worthy.

Foreman was like wine. I prefer old Foreman to younger Foreman. But you can't be HoF with one victory. Agree.

But HOF? Does his being a South African count that much? Not many great boxers from SA.

Its the hall of fame, not the hall of title fights won. Gatti had a lot of fame.

I have a lot of respect for Arturo Gatti. He lost a few, and won a few as well.

Gatti was great at what he brought to the sport of boxing. It wasn't his win or lost record. He brought excitement and the thrill of watching a real fight. He was a true warrior and that's what the people wanted to see. He lifted boxing up and he deserves to be in the hall of fame. He is a famous fighter, bottom line and his fights will always be watched with enthusiasm. You don't see fighters like Gotti all the time.

Having Gatti in really shows how low the bar has been set in terms of qualification. If someone like Gatti is able to get into the IBHOF just based on his excitement and fame then you might as well have Ricardo Mayorga in as well. He had memorable fights and also a lot of crazy moments in the sport such as his trash talks and antics. His 2 wins over Vernon Forrest alone is already better than Gattiā€™s best wins.

Ottke and Morrison? Christ that's way worse than my first post of Vitali.
