He went for the money against Roy and was already aware that Pavlik is no opponent for him, which was later proven my a 43 years old Hopkins. Just give it up! Joe would beat KP eeeeeasily. Dare to say the opposite?

Williams stands a chance of being seriously hurt against Pavlik as he simply gives up too much weight and doesn't have enough pop in his WW punches to keep Pavik off of him.

Are you an idiot? That's a real question. I'd really like an answer.

What the **** does Pavlik/Hopkins have to do with the fact that Calzaghe spent 6 months calling Pavlik out, and when Kelly said yes, Slappy Joe ran the other way? Furthermore, he fought Jones for LESS money, and if you deny that, I'll know the answer to the question above.

Furthermore, do you have any idea how stupid you look when you criticize Pavlik for losing to Hopkins, and in the same post give Slappy Joe credit for fighting a version of Roy Jones that was more shot than John F Kennedy?

Joe Calzaghe ducked Kelly Pavlik. That is one of the most thoroughly documented facts in recent boxing history.

I don't know if Calzaghe ducked Pavlik but he certainly tied himself in verbal knots....yeah, he ducked him. Calzghe is the first and only fighter in boxing history to call out a man consistantly, and then duck him when the challenge was accepted. After what Nard did to Kelly I suspect that Calzaghe may have ultimately regretted his decision.

Taylor was dead tired in the 10th through 12th round of the second Pavlik fight.

Though I don't believe he ducked in the afraid sense, the problem is he was very keen on fighting Pavlik at one point, and then after Pavlik annihilated Lockett (trained by Joe's dad), he wanted no part of him. There was a definite U-turn. So Pavlickers do have a lot of weight to lend to their argument.
