Looks like Ward is fighting Kessler in the summer, and w/o the Showtime $$$ Froch aint interested in getting KTFO in Canada. Should Bute do as the K2 do and go down the line of suitable opponents until one man's up and takes their career high payday. Here's a list of decents contenders or former s6 participants who would look ok on Bute'e resume while fulfilling showtimes demand it be an american.
Its well beyond time to step up. Andre Dirrell, make showtimes demands (you have to give in to get something sometimes, yer?) and should he win, Ward has no options but to fight him later on in the summer. Should he dismiss Showtimes demands and continue his hometown party, feasting on bums and second rate fighters coming off losses, everyone should just give up on him (I already have... the guy is just a fraud) So: Andre Dirrell Bernard Hopkins Anthony Dirrell (although a little disappointment to be fair) Kelly Pavlik (with how he's looked recently, would be a disappointment because Pavlik needs tuneups before he can get in there again)
Froch was the fight to make and showtime once again screw all things up for Bute. Dirrell is one of the best SMW around, but I'd be surprised if he goes straight at a title match after only one tune up fight against a guy like Cunningham. He's fought Johnson, Magee and Bika. Green is worst than them. Stieglitz won't fight him. I'd like him against up coming guys like Groves, Oosthuizen and Degale but in today's boxing, it would be surprising to see these guys step up at this stage. I blamed him when he fought Mendy (even though it was a mentatory fight), but I won't blame Bute if he fight a top 15 scrub this time again. They don't want to fight you ? Screw them and make millions in Montreal. One of Ward, Froch, Kessler or Dirrell will beg you to fight them soon enough. :bbb
Bute can't do no wrong in his Canadian/Romanian fans eyes, we all know this. They have every excuse in the book for Brinkley,Magee and bringing Mendy back to Montreal when Mendy was fresh off getting waxed by Bika BUT, LOW AND BEHOLD.. Dirrell doesn't make sense to fight, because he's not an attraction. :rofl Butes fans are more concerned about him making money, than him fighting the best available opposition. They rather him fight Brinkley again in Montreal, than to meet Showtimes demands and prove himself in USA against an American fighter.
Dre Dirrel won't take the fight. If I were to post fighters who have already turned the date down, I would've included Ward. Tony Dirrel on the other hand is poised for a title shot that Ward won't give him b/c he's negotiating with Kessler for August(when both should be healed). The point is....................Andre Dirrel won't fight Bute unless it's according to terms he has no right or option to be making.:bbb
Is Ward fighting Kessler in the summer? What about Kessler-Steiglitz? I thought that was set for April. It's silly if Showtime would accept Anthony Dirrell, but not Froch. I don't know what their game is, but that makes no sense on any level. Not Allan Green.

Ward has fought the best fighters available already, the most proven fighters. He is not forced to do anything but sit on his throne and heal his injuries. He's THE UNIFIED WBC & WBA man at 168lbs. THE ring mag champion. Bute is an IBF paper fraud, only in the IBF can you get title shots after being flat out knocked the **** out by Bika, or have lost the vast majority of your last 5 fights, including your last one in Glencoffe Johnson.
