Who did everyone hate on here before Amir Khan ?

Great night on ESB that was.

 

Funny thing was I went to the GF and people over there were trying to rub it in, saying all the ESB Brits were really pissed off because their Olympic hero had been beaten. They were being told, "go take a look over on the Brit forum....."

 

They thought we actually gave a **** about Khan!

 

I think that was every bit as much to do with it being a rip off PPV and there being a bit of poetic justice as anything else.

 

I am not anti-Khan

I simply despise the ridiculous hype and the need for about 250 flunkies blowing smoke up his ass

 

What's with the recent infestation of Khan fans on ESB recently? Keep signing up and only post in threads relating to Khan.

khans delusions of granduer and his demented fanboys make people hate him.
if he didnt think he was miles better than he is and his fans werent so scary then people would probably be looking at his good points not the bad.
also the fact he conned half the nation into thinking he was a future champ when all along he had no chin hasnt gone down too well, especially as it made him alot alot of money and he now has nothing to back it up with

 

No offence mate but this really is one of my pet hates...Khan has pakistani heritage(Asian) whilst Hamed has Yemeni heritage (Arab), nowhere near the same thing :good

 

i would imagine that calzaghe got a lot of stick. before Khan came along he had 15 or so title defences against allot of poor names.

Last time I checked Yemen was in Asia.

Granted Asia is a ****ing big continent with many very diverse peoples, but they both are Asian.

 

In relatively recent times - since the Mayweather defeat - Hatton. Khan has soaked up a lot of the hate up though, Ricky gets a relatively easy ride now.
