    Why?

Everyone who isn't called Pacquiao wants to fight Mayweather, and everyone who isn't called Mayweather wants to fight Pacquiao.

They were and are massive money fights.

Hatton's legacy should suffer as a result of those fights, not be enhanced by them. He got completely banjoed by both of them, and its not as if Pac and Mayweather have been sparking guys senseless over the last few years.

His legacy does suffer but they were great fights to watch for the boxing fans especially when a large percentange of ESB'ers were predicting a Hatton win
    :rofl
It's better than doing a Calzaghe IMO

The Hatton that fought mayqeather would of beaten collazo far more convincingly imo. Wasn't that fight taken at short notice as well as doing the weight wrong.

    Froch has better resume

Only plonkers are slagging off Froch at this point, yet you get your knickers in a twist and try to take your frustrations out on Hatton? GTFO.

Hatton marketed himself to the football and casual boxing fans (something David Haye has tried to do)

However if you strip away all the bull****, his record isnt very good.

He lost to Collazo no doubt, KO’d by Mayweather & PacMan. People give Haye stick for saying he was going to do X,Y & Z to Wladamir but Hatton made just as many bold predictions in the 2 fights he lost. Id go as far as to say that Hatton embarrassed himself far more than Haye did. (Toe injuries aside)

I think Mallignaggi & Tszyu were his best wins. (With Paulie being the most “prime”)

I applaud Ricky for making boxing mainstream news again during his prime (in England that is).

For me, it all went a bit Rocky 3 in the end. Im glad Hatton got out when he did.

Its nice to see him giving something back, and I hope the training and promoting works out for him.

certainly not witter, ricky looked scared listen to his voice when witter called him out in front of the whole nation.
like khan he did not prove he was the best in britain let alone keep banging on about the p4p list , two words fat wanker one fighter not wanting another fighter to earn is morrally wrong imho especially when one was a true professional and the other a fat alcholic drug taking the world owes me everthing twat.
