Thread title. Send in your Liston opponent to flatten Joe Louis circa 1937-1948. Does Roy Harris have a great chance? Howard King? Marty Marshall?
The only one who might give Louis a hard time is Eddie Machen for stylistic reasons. But ultimately I think Joe beats him too.
I think Machen is the equivalent of Bob Pastor in some way and may give Louis hiccups unless he catches him early. I also don't think he gets rid of Floyd Patterson as authoritatively as Liston did
