And how would you rate GGG's performances vs Canelo?

The crying is from GGG fans who still are crying robbery, or anyone acting like a draw or a close Canelo win is unreasonable. You know full well how close it was, but you and others like you want to avoid splitting hairs and want to avoid doing the math. I'm actually trying to put a stop to the crying by reminding fans of how close it was and that they've been influenced by GGG "robbery" propaganda.

    I'd give 1st fight :
    Canelo : A
    GGG : B+

    2nd fight :
    Canelo : A-
    GGG : A-

Only issue I had with Canelo in the first match was his gas tank in the middle rounds. I thought his overall strategy and gameplan was nearly perfect and executed near flawlessly. In the rematch Canelo was more wreckless but also launched a more relentlesss attack and did more damage on GGG.

I think the main thing is that GGG did perform better overall in the rematch. That we can agree on. In the rematch GGG was better prepared and overall boxed better. In the first match lets be real GGG did not look ready, he really did struggle early on and frankly he looked like a fish out of water for half the match. He gave away the early rounds. In the rematch, GGG came out ready to go, he won the first round clearly and the 4th round clearly. Only problem was he got too overconfident after winning the first round he then got beat up in rounds 2 and 3, then after winning the 4th, got beat up in rounds 5 and 6 when Canelo started to press the action and land heavy punches on him.

You give Canelo an A+ in the rematch for coming forward and making a fight out of it. But he also was more wreckless and got hit more. In the first match he fought a much smarter more defensive fight. The rematch he gave the fans a treat by coming forward, but overall his performance the first time really was more of a defensive master class and hitting and not getting hit. So it depends what you prefer I guess, but aside from him giving away rounds 7-9 it's hard to find much fault with that performace. So I don't know how you could say is performance the first time was anything less than an A, maybe an A- for not engaging enough, but clearly was a very smart strategy to neutralize GGG's attack and make him work to get his shots off. He fought a lot better than most people expected, especially in the footwork and ring generalship department. In the rematch he threw caution to the wind, and gave the fans a show, but overall I don't think that means he was "better", even if it was more fun to watch.

The fans watched it and concluded it was a draw.

As you can see, most fans watched it and concluded that was a draw or very close and could have gone either way. But to you - It was a robbery ahhhhhhh Conspiracies!!

Style preference - do you favor come forward fighters? You can win a fight fighting off the backfoot or coming forward. But most fans score rounds to whoever is coming forward and don't appreciate the art of hitting and not getting hit.
