Just because a fight was close does not at all mean there can't be a clear winner. The rounds can be competitive and close but you can have one guy winning 7 rounds clearly and you can find it very difficult to find 6 or more rounds for the other guy.

Anyway, Shadow you've shown time and time again you're unable to score objectively and understand what clean punching is. You seem to think slapping with the inside glove, punching elbows/gloves, scuffing punches are clean punches. Please can you just watch it with no bias and we can actually have a debate.

And also you're appeal to fan scorecards is just nonsense as most fans are casuals who probably think punching gloves and arms is actually good work.

Canelo didn't win rounds 1-3 and 10-12 either. I gave Canelo 1 based on cleaner jabs landing. Round 2 was at best a draw, round 3 was Golovkin.

Round 10/11 is frankly where the judges get it completely wrong. Canelo lands some flashy punches in the first 30-40 seconds.. Id probably say around 3-5 clean to big punches in those couple of seconds. Although a lot miss and scuff,
But the crowd go wild for it. However, not much consideration is taken for the next 2 min or so where Golovkin lands numerous heavy power punching jabs and then also landing an equal amount of big hooks and right hands that go completely unnoticed. Canelo was hanging out of his ass in rounds 10 and 11. Similarly with round 12, I gave it to Canelo, but you could easily argue a draw or GGG. Canelo for the first 45 seconds landed some great power punches altho GGG ate them. Following that GGG landed countless heavy power jabs and landed a few powerful hooks and right hands that Canelo looked hurt by tbh. I just gave the round to Canelo for the initial 45 seconds but tbh I don't think it was enough looking back.

The closest I could give this fight is 7-5 GGG being super generous to Canelo.

For those who don't want to read this, Shadow basically says he doesn't agree with the fan scoring of rounds 4-6 but uses the fan scoring of rounds 2, 3, and 12 to make his argument.

Note that if you actually read through the cards, it's closer to something like 100 gave the fight to GGG, 20 a draw, and 10 to Canelo. Doesn't seem like a by and large gave it a draw to me.

It's not my argument that the fans had rounds 2, 3 and 12 as Canelo's best rounds, the clearest rounds out of any of the 12 rounds for Canelo. I was responding to a post who argued GGG won rounds 2, 3, and 12. These were pretty much universally seen as Canelo's best rounds, not just on that site of fan scorecards, but in general. So scoring Canelo's best rounds for GGG puts him in the minority.

I recognize that I'm in the minority for scoring any of rounds 4-6 to Canelo, but to score rounds 2, 3 and 12 for GGG he's in the minority for those rounds too. Though objectively, regardless of fan data, I don't see how anyone could deny how even rounds 4-6 were. Surely, at the very least, you would recognize that those were less clear GGG rounds than rounds 7-9 were.

Right, but on a round by round basis, the average scores had Canelo with a higher average score in rounds 1-3 & 10-12. (more 10s than 9s for Canelo, more 9s than 10s for GGG) Granted Rounds 10 and 11 were very even, but still Canelo with a small majority. So more people in that fan scoring scored those rounds for Canelo. It just goes to show how you have 6 rounds that more fans said Canelo won than said GGG won, and this goes against the idea that it was a clear GGG win. It obviously wasn't if more people scored 6 rounds for Canelo than GGG.
